How the proof works

When you record an asset, BEVIS computes its SHA-256 hash in your browser and writes a BEVISV1-tagged OP_RETURN transaction to the TEXITcoin blockchain. The hash is a fingerprint — anyone can re-hash your file and confirm the bytes never changed.

Every asset gets its own dedicated TXC address. Lifecycle events — claim, transfer, attest, revoke, metadata — all accumulate on that address, so the asset's full history lives in one place anyone can inspect at mempool.texitcoin.org.
